Free Stuff in Vegas Today - 12/21/08
Check out Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shops on Dean Martin Dr. Get a free picture with Santa from noon-5 pm and see the model train village display. Activities include a Red Ryder Laser Arcade, remote-control car test drives and soft gun arcade. Activities for the kiddies include craft tables and a cookie decorating station.
Meet Magic at Borders Bookstore at Town Square Mall. Basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson will be signing his new book 32 Ways to Be a Champion in Business from 1 pm-3 pm. All ages are welcome and the event is free.
Santa makes his final visit to The District at Green Valley Ranch. You’ll find him on The Green next to the carousel from 11 am-3 pm. Adding to the festive atmosphere is an a cappella quartet strolling the district from noon-4 pm as they sing holiday favorites.
Morton’s The Steakhouse is turning 30 and to celebrate they’ll be serving up complimentary mini cheeseburgers to guests at Bar 12-21 from 5 pm-6 pm. The restaurant is located at 400 E. Flamingo Rd.
Celebrate the season and party ‘til the cows come home at Hogs ‘n Heifers Saloon on 3rd St. The downtown biker bar will throw its annual Christmas party and everyone’s invited. Festivities start at 8 pm. Admission is free.
