Free Stuff in Vegas Today - 01/17/09

For prime people watching opportunities today, it’s really a toss-up. Sam’s Town on Boulder Highway will host the 11th Annual Punk Rock Bowling Tournament where colorful characters will hit the lanes for two days of league style bowling. At the Hard Rock, Motley Crue’s Vince Neil and a host of his celebrity, poker pro and adult film stars friends will gather for the 4th Annual Off the Strip Poker Tournament to benefit the Skylar Neil Memorial Fund.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on S. Town Center Drive spotlights its Book of the Month “You Are More Than Enough”. Author Judi Moreo will attend a meet and greet and book signing from noon to 2 pm.

Cherry Nightclub at Red Rock Resort holds another Stimulus Saturday event with $1000s in Vestal merchandise giveaways. Music by DJ Dig Dug.

Ray J celebrates his new part ownership in Poetry Nightclub with a birthday bash and watch giveaway. Doors open at 10 pm.

Arizona Charlie’s Boulder welcomes back 3D (4 pm-7 pm) and D-Force (9 pm-2:30 a) to the Palace Grand Lounge and there’s no cover charge.

It’s Glam Rock Saturday at Green Valley Ranch’s Ovation Lounge. Catch Unskinny Bop’s tribute to Poison. Doors open at 10 pm and admission is free.

Over at the Eastside Cannery , Johnny Fortuna performs songs made famous by Elvis inside Marilyn’s Lounge starting at 9 pm. Admission is free.

Rounding out tonight’s tribute-o-rama is Dust ‘n Bones at Boulder Station’s Railhead from 11 pm to 1:30 am. Admission is free.

Cornell Gunter’s Coasters hit the stage at Rampart Casino’s Addison’s Lounge. They perform from 8 pm to midnight and admission is free.
