Today marks the inauguration of our nation’s 44th president and all eyes on the Las Vegas Strip will be able to watch as Barack Obama takes the oath for the highest office in the land. The Miracle Mile invites everyone to come on down as they broadcast CNN’s coverage of the inauguration on their huge 130’ x 40’ Strip-side LED video wall beginning at 8 am.

The Las Vegas Hilton offers a more intimate setting for your viewing pleasure in the legendary Hilton Theater where you can watch the event on their state-of-the-art 18’ x 32’ HDTV. Admission is free and there’s seating for 1,635. The Hilton Theater was once Elvis’ Sin City home and currently features Barry Manilow but this will be the first presidential inauguration viewed there.

The El Cortez will mark the occasion with a free slice of Marie Callender’s apple pie for slot and table players from noon to 6 pm.

Krispy Kreme will also commemorate this historic day with a free doughnut of choice to every customer. There’s a one doughnut limit per customer but no purchase is necessary. Click here to find a participating location.

Tonight’s SpyOnVegas open bar moves to the brand new Capo’s Italian Restaurant located on W. Sahara Ave. Complimentary cocktails are available from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Modern Science headlines Alternative Tuesdays in the House of Blues Courtyard.  Admission is free and doors open at 9 pm. All ages are welcome.

The Tempo Lounge at the Las Vegas Hilton declares ladies’ night from 6 pm to 9 pm. Ladies are invited to drink free while enjoying the sounds of More & Grendel.
